I Wonder

As far back as when time began,

over many years long past,

many tears have been shed.

Tears of sorrow and pain.

Tears of joy and laughter.

Tears of rejection and ridicule.

Tears of acceptance and resolve.

Tears of choices made and consequences thereof.

Tears of forgiveness and contentment.

Tears of crossing the finish line and dreams come true.

Many tears have flowed down the checks and faces of all people.

Many tears have been shed.

You have brought into place the hearing of my tears and

seeing of all things.

Your Heart implies much more,

much more than I can attempt to write.

I wonder …

Could the droplets of my tears be formed by Your Hand

into snowflakes?

Is not each teardrop,

is not each snowflake,

different?

“You have taken account of my wanderings;

Put my tears in Your Bottle.

Are they not in Your Book?”  Psalm 56:8

Each teardrop,

each snowflake,

created by Your Heart into a Masterpiece of treasures known only by You.

I wonder … as I watch the snowflakes released from the sky,

are they not Your Shadow covering the earth with Grace, Mercy, and Love?

Tears of …

Snowflakes descend …

Continually revealing to me a golden mystery dressed in white.

I wonder …
